So, This is Me

Both the lovely Kat at Sassy Irish Lassie and DCUrbanDad double dogged dared me to take a picture of myself right this second and post it -- no editing of self beforehand or photo afterwards. I did cheat and take off my glasses, since the flash reflecting off them was obscuring my face. But otherwise, here I am:


I'm wearing my favorite ugly sweatshirt that keeps me cozy when I'm home and relaxing for the night. The lack of makeup is par for the course around here, as are the circles under my eyes courtesy of my Russian forebears. The fuzzy updo is a result of swimming laps, sitting in the hot tub and then the steam room, and then apres shower doing nothing more to my hair than a butterfly clip. I will say this, though, my cheeks have never felt so smooth as they do after that lovely steam room.

I'm supposed to tag 10 people to do this too. Here are the rules:

10 seems excessive. Then again, you've sat through that photo of me, so perhaps you'd be interested in the same of others. There are a lot of people whose faces I would love to see (Marinka, are you out there? MommyPie?) because I so love reading their words. But I'm not going to put anyone on on the spot here with an official "tag" -- just please feel free to do this if you like. And definitely leave me a comment here if you do, so I can come and visit.
