In a moment of boredom, and utter desperation over ever seeing a new episode of any show ever again, I chose to take the "Who is Your Ideal TV Boyfriend?" quiz. Not that I'm not happily married. Just that there must be some way for me to imagine interactions with all my TV crushes besides watching re-runs. I don't like re-runs.
Besides, the ad I saw for the quiz pictured Jim from The Office. He's pretty droll. I figured a girl could do worse than him. And besides besides, I figured that if LatteMommy can have a Barista Boyfriend, I can have one in TV Land, right? So I took the quiz, and guess what I found out? I WIN MCDREAMY!!
I sigh. I swoon. My day is complete. This little quiz could not have handed me a more ideal TV Land boyfriend if I'd gotten to write the character myself. I don't know anything about Patrick Dempsey, and frankly I don't care to. I'm not interested in him. I'm only interested in the doctor he plays on TV.
So I'm here to tell you that this 5-minute quiz is completely worth taking if you need a little injection for your flagging TV interest. You really should find out who your TV boyfriend is. Just keep your hands off Derek. You've been warned.

Mrs. F, you are so funny! I have no idea how I landed such a prize. Normally when I take these types of quizzes, I get some freak of nature answer that makes me totally annoyed. But this quiz must be really accurately written, you see, because in fact TV Me would totally do TV McDreamy in a heartbeat.
As for why you got House, however, I cannot explain. Perhaps there was a glitch in the system at that moment? You should try retaking...
