Want a Bite?

Know what I'm eating right now? BOTH heels (the best part) of a loaf of fresh sourdough bread, toasted, and slathered with homemade chocolate icing.

How much do I care that this is not exactly in my diet? This much. []

Besides, I worked out today. (You remind me of my meatballs and macaroni-and-cheese for dinner, and I remind you I had a very large helping of broccoli too, thank you very much.)

And also, nom nom nom -slurp- nom, sip of chammomile tea, nom nom.... sorry, must run.

You should try this sometime. Seriously.

Right now... Right this very moment... I hate you with every ounce of my soul.

I shan't ever forgive you, I think.

We call the heel of the bread either "the butt" or "the nose".

And with Nutella, it tastes like pure love. Mmmmmm.

I was seriously JUST contemplating making some toast with Nutella. But having sourdough bread would be so much better. Mmmm.... *drool*

And by the way? That last line? I laughed my @$$ off!

Sourdough makes the best toast, doesn't it? With real butter... mmmm...

Mrs F, please please please please can I have your recipe? I promise to eat one for you every time I make them.

Kim and ZoeyJane and PB&J win the prize for best dinner. Mine was just dessert. I wish I'd thought to eat a dinner-sized portion.

Ahh, Supertiff, I would share. But in 30 minutes, it would be all cold and a little hard. So let me just eat this up right now, while it's fresh, and save you the disappointment of cold toast. See how nice I am?

Mommytime, seeing as you ask so nicely, I could email it to you if you wish? But you might wish I hadn't!

My sister went to Los Angeles the other day and brought home some of the famous SPRINKLES CUPCAKES. That was MY breakfast, thank you very much!

Since this is a PG-rated blog, I will restrain myself to calling you a big fat meany head. You suck. Unless you are sharing, of course, in which case you're the bestest sister EVER.

The girls and I have snacks after work every Thursday with my 90-year-old great aunt, WHICH includes ice cream and cookies, thank-you-very-much. So I skip dinner Thursday night (gee, that's big of me).

UNTIL 9:30, while slaving away over a hot computer, and I want cereal. All we had in the cupboard last night was granola. So, poured the milk, nom nom nom AND . . . the phone rang. Twice. Two long conversations later, I'm still hungry, and I ATE that soggy granola, yes I did. Take THAT, Oprah's best life.
