A Numers Game: Where in the world has MommyTime Been?

8 -- days of vacation
3 -- hotels slept in

1 -- afternoon learning to climb trees in an urban park with Uncle

5 -- children under six years old at the amusement park
1 -- child afflicted with stomach flu
countless -- games of "soldiers" played with cousins

1 -- ferry ride to see a statue
3 -- kid-friendly museums visited

1 -- afternoon on the beach
1 -- morning of putt-putt golf

TOTALS:
1700 -- miles driven in the family car
One -- big, happy, relaxed family

Now I'm facing:
5 -- loads of laundry
scores -- emails to answer
523 -- posts in reader to catch up on

More stories, and oh-so-many delicious photos coming up. For now: can you guess any of the places the Time family was this past week? Here are some hints...

Yep, NYC - Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and is that the USS Intrepid? I'm guessing you got to a bunch of the great museums there, too. And probably the Crayola Factory in PA on your way out or back ... I've heard great things about it, I'm glad you guys had a great time!

I think that's the first full frontal shot of you I've ever seen. SWEET.

Also, I KNOW THAT ROCK! I KNOW THAT BUILDING BEHIND THAT ROCK! I have SAT ON THAT ROCK!

Sounds like you had a great trip. We went on vacation recently and I haven't even had time to blog about it! I'm going crazy. Hope you have better luck. :)

Glad you guys had a relaxing vacay! If I had known you were in town, we could have met for coffee. ;-) Our family didn't get one this summer. Not exactly sure when we'll get one, but we've got a gazillion miles on our Capital One card, so I'm hoping we can go SOMEWHERE before the baby turns 18 and moves out of the house.

NYC!!

And nope, the Statue of Liberty did not give it away, I swear.

(*fingers crossed behind back*)

Love the pic of you!!! I think that's the first pic I've really seen of you!!

Is it sad that I didn't notice the Statue of Liberty but immediately knew you'd been to Easton to the Crayola Factory? Maybe it's because I live right next to Easton.... Hope you had a great time in NYC and my backyard!

Now see, after the kid friendly museum my children would not be allowed to ride home in my car.

OK . . . jut a few scary numbers (as in 5 under 6 and 1 w/ flu).

Otherwise, what a blast!!! Eager to hear/see more!

Ah, good guessers. Yes, NYC, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, and Crayola Museum. And, Tootsie, I thought perhaps a hands on museum run by Crayola might involve mess, so I took spare clothes for the kids, and hosed them down in the art-room sink before letting them back in the car. :) But just wait till you see the rest of the pictures of her mess!

But still, no one has figured out the last photo. And can anyone guess which amusement park?
