there's an interesting article in this month's Smithsonian about these gentle giants. the good news is they seem to be making a comeback. something like 23 pregnant giraffes in Niger.
I got licked by a giraffe once. EEWWWW slobbers!!! They have a HUGE tongue.
I LOVE giraffes!!!! Just something about them makes me smile. And this pic...IS AWESOME!
