* love
* a toddler on the potty
* caramelizing onions
* a dog on a walk in a brand-new neighborhood
* the perfect sunset
* a preschooler donning snow pants
* gardens
* growing up
* your officemate who likes to talk union politics
* a child eating anything
* the accumulation of enough snow for sledding
So, I've discovered, you might as well savor the process.(In case you can't tell, we are still eagerly awaiting enough snow to warrant dragging out the sled.)

ah, it looks like you're getting close! we haven't even had any real flurries, and this year is supposed to be a good snow year. my boys are growing impatient!
All you need is the right kind of sled. That kind of snow is perfect for those flat bottomed things made of plastic. No runners - just flat bottom sliding.
Oh, I'm so jealous! Up until yesterday, we were still in short sleeves, for crying in the night! It's now gotten "cold" here...except not really.
We cannot wait for our first snow fall here.. I am probably more giddy about it than the boys are.. I love to play in the snow and come in and enjoy a HUGE vat of hot coco.. :)
We rarely get snow here at the beach. Now that it's "winter" my daughter is asking for snow. :( We might just have to drive west and see if we can find some!
Love the pics - especially the snow angel! Hope you get to break out the sled soon!
Hahahaha. I love your list! Brilliant! And the pics are darling.
I love the snow/grass angels!
Deb and Kim, I hope you get your snow soon. As for you, Steph and Calicobebop, I know that wish would be welcome, but it's a bit less likely where you live! Still, I hope you get a little nip in the air one of these days, so you can at least enjoy some cocoa!
Lceel, you are right about the flat sled (which we have). Unfortunately, the snow is so wet right now that you just sink into it and get stuck. I'm hoping for more coming through at the end of the week, just in time for weekend fun.
That's nice that you play in the snow with them...I like to watch from the window and daydream of the summer sunshine. Aaahhhh.........
My Samia would love the snow she does the angel pose in the kitchen and no snow outside
beautiful post - so true.
we definitely had only about half an inch and all the kids went sledding. unfortunately i was not there to record it with my camera. on the other hand, i think that just means it didn't really happen...ha ha.
I'd add Risotto!
Such cute pictures!
That's a great list. I hope you get enough snow soon. :)
what a wonderful post!
that's great snow. I like snow eventhough there is no snow in my country. well, it can be changed by rain, hehe. Nice photo
